Why this topic?, this will be the question any reader may be asking as the end of this article. Know that your question has been answered already by the one year doldrums of our current government led by APC administration.
However, this is my thoughts ;
The worst deceptive politician is he who hide his integrity under the guise of religion,  regional or ethnic sympathy. Just to gain political popularity when such a country he seek to govern is not single family in those things mentioned above.
Buhari came into power with many promises which of course,  as human beings we know cannot be all fulfilled. But at least people think that more than fifty percent of them will be realized. Especially, considering the way he sold himself to the masses as man of integrity and trustworthy. Many innocent everyday Nigerians bought him in that plater of trustworthiness, not knowing what it really means to sell your consciousness to a politician.  But who will blame them of such an error, when many ulamas and clergymen (of course those politically consumed) transformed their religion centers (which is meant for worship only) as the market  place where Buhari was sold often times cheaper than he was in their own  'campaign media center'. After all, who will fail to buy an immaculate politician that was even qualified to be sold in a religion center?.  So we all endeavor to buy.
Let us now look the  seven major lies/deception of Buhari's administration and his continue deceptive political tactics;
1.   The first lie when he came into office was,  he promised to publicly declare his assets which he failed to not until there was a public cry on it. Before his media aids came on air and lie to the whole nation about what he really have.  Buhari said he has only thirty six million naira,  a house in kaduna and Daura.,... But we wonder how such a man could afford to pay his children school fees who were studying in UK at that time with each one them fee range like 25,0000 euro yearly prior to his emergence as President of Nigeria. While he claimed penury to even sponsored his own election,  poor people in Nigeria were been charged to sponsor his campaign and the election purely out of the love and hope they had in him. Sadly it was discovered that this man has more than he publicly declared. Everyday Nigerians  were struggling  to survive from that shameful blow they received from the first lie when recession was artificially installed on the economy of the nation by same APC cabal.
2. Buhari promised to scrap the office of the first lady during his campaigns.  He claimed that there is unnecessary waste of money in it,  and it is not productive to the nation. On this too,  he lied to us by deceptively provided  the same office in different name as 'first lady office'. It is from this office Aisha Buhari currently advocating women interest 'assure future'.
3. Buhari accused Jonathan administration of having the most number private Jets in the world.  He promised to sold them out when he came in to office because he see it as waste of public funds. Alas,  when he came they are still there intact soaking our money for its maintenance. Until recently he gave out one to the Airforce when the fight of insurgency became high. Despite that gesture, he lied again by not selling out the rest of them to reduce the number into two as  he promised.
More is coming.
To be continued next week.
